Lewisburg is but a speck in the road with about 850 people in lush southwestern Kentucky. Buildings are spread out, and neighborhoods are rural.

About an hour outside of Bowling Green, Lewisburg sits along the shores of 788-acre Lake Malone, which is a popular fishing spot (large mouth bass, crappie, bluegill and channel catfish). Tourists wander in their way to visit Lake Malone State Park, which in addition to the lake has some fun restaurants and B&Bs in and around it.
