Waterfront Condominium Community in Lexington, South Carolina Boasts Private Boat Docks, Two Private Beaches and Amazing Lake Murray Views
Land's End is a gated, all ages condominium community in Lexington, South Carolina. It takes up about a third of a strip of land that juts into Lake Murray. Some sections of the peninsula are only wide enough for a road and nothing else.
Buildings are clustered together in groups of about four to 15 and strung along the peninsula in such a way that most homes have an unobstructed lake view (some overlook a large grassy area). Each residence is two stories tall with approximately 1,100 square feet to 1,800 square feet, two to three bedrooms, two baths, vaulted ceilings, a private patio and a courtyard with bedroom doors opening onto them. Exteriors are brick.
Cuurent prices start in the high-$100,000s. The HOA fee is around $200 per month. Please verify these prices with a Realtor as they are subject to change.
Next to most building clusters is a long dock with 14 boat slips at the end (rental fees apply). Other amenities include fishing piers, two private beaches and a beachside gazebo. Boat storage is also available.
Land's End does not have a working website. Visit www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6AyGDZgxag to see a video.
South Carolina:
South Carolina is nicknamed the Palmetto State and its motto is "Dum spiro spero," which is Latin for "While I Breath, I Hope." It is 40th in size in the United States and was the eighth state to be admitted to the Union on May 23, 1788. The largest city and state capital is Columbia.
Formerly known as the Province of South Carolina, the area was also one of the 13 Colonies that declared its independence during the American Revolution. The state was the first to secede from the Union and was the first and founding state of the Confederate States of America.
South Carolina is in what is considered the Deep South and is bordered by the states of Georgia on the south and North Carolina on the north.
The state does not host any major professional sport franchises. However, the Carolina Panthers and the Carolina Hurricanes actually represent both North Carolina and South Carolina.
